The best airports in customer experience in Latin America and the Caribbean, according to passengers

The Airports Council International of Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) announced the winners of the Airport Service Quality Program (ASQ), which recognizes excellence in the customer experience at the region's airports

The ASQ Program, developed by ACI World in collaboration with leading travel technology company Amadeus, stands as the leading airport customer experience measurement and benchmarking program globally. 

The ASQ Program, known for its rigorous methodology, is unique in the aviation sector. The assessment is obtained directly through surveys carried out directly with travelers, capturing satisfaction levels in more than 30 performance indicators.

Airports recognized for offering exceptional experiences to their customers fall into the following categories:

Less than 2 million passengers per year:

Guanacaste Airport (Liberia, Costa Rica)

Hermosillo International Airport (Hermosillo, Mexico)

From 2 to 5 million passengers per year:

Guanajuato International Airport (Guanajuato, Mexico)

Guayaquil International Airport (Guayaquil, Ecuador)

From 5 to 15 million passengers per year:

Los Cabos International Airport (Los Cabos, Mexico)

Punta Cana International Airport (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic)

Quito International Airport (Quito, Ecuador)

These airports have demonstrated their commitment to offering world-class services and an enjoyable travel experience, earning them recognition from the very passengers they serve.

Bermuda's LF Wade International Airport and Guayaquil International Airport win the award for the most pleasant airport in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Guayaquil International Airport has been one of the most outstanding, with a total of five awards in various categories. The awards include:

Best Airport for 2 to 5 Million Passengers in Latin America and the Caribbean

Airport with the most dedicated staff in Latin America and the Caribbean

Airport with the easiest trip in Latin America and the Caribbean

Nicest airport in Latin America and the Caribbean

Cleanest airport in Latin America and the Caribbean
