Amadeus today announces the acquisition of Voxel, a leading provider of electronic invoicing and B2B payment solutions for travel agencies, hotels and other players in the sector. This transaction will reinforce Amadeus' vision of offering a simple payment experience in the travel sector. It will also complement Amadeus' payments business, Outpayce, enhancing its current product line for travel agents, while expanding into hotels.

The addition of Voxel solutions to the current Amadeus offering means access to a greater variety of payment services for travel agents and a more automated form of electronic invoice management for tour operators, TMC (Travel Management Company). acronym in English), hotel aggregators and hotels.
