The Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) reports that, as part of the recovery of the port of Acapulco, everything is ready to celebrate the 48th edition of the Mexico Tourist Tianguis, which will take place from April 8 to 12.
In the run-up to the celebration of the most important tourism fair in Latin America, the Organizing Committee of the Tianguis Turístico México 2024 held a productive meeting where the last details of this important event were attended to.
It was announced that, in this sense, the Tianguis Turístico will have an important complementary program to the business meetings, which highlights the holding of Keynote Conferences, the Delivery of Recognitions for Product Innovation and the Best of Mexico Awards , meetings with the academic community, the transfer of the post to the state of Baja California, among others.
Likewise, it was announced that, as of March 22, the participation of 682 companies, 1,162 buyers and the presence of 41 countries, including Mexico and its 32 entities, have been confirmed; as well as 1,625 exhibitors from 930 companies.
It was recalled that, within the framework of the most important tourism festival in Mexico, there will be a rich academic program, focused on the rebirth of a tourist destination after a natural disaster.
It was also recalled that, with the objective of promoting and raising awareness about the employment of people with disabilities in the tourism sector, the Tianguis Turístico México 2024 will be the fourth inclusive one.
