On March 31, LEVEL airlines will start its exciting 2024 summer season with a new service from Miami to Barcelona.
With this brand-new route, these cities will be closer than ever. In total, LEVEL airlines will increase its seat capacity to Barcelona by 50% compared to the previous season. The reinforcement of the capacity between the USA and Barcelona, in Spain, demonstrates how important the American market is for LEVEL airlines.

This capacity increase is possible by the incorporation of a sixth aircraft, in line with LEVEL airlines growth plan, aiming to reach eight units by 2026.

Furthermore, as announced during IAG’s Capital Markets Day last November, in 2024 the company will initiate the process to obtain its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC) within the group.

This expansion reinforces LEVEL airlines ongoing commitment to consolidate Barcelona’s intercontinental hub towards America and to solidify its position as the leading long-haul airline at the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport.

The United States of America, a key market
The main highlight of the season will be the new service from Miami to Barcelona, initially operated three times a week and increasing to four frequencies from June to September, flying on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Additionally, the airline will expand its programme in the USA with daily flights from New York, Boston and Los Angeles to Barcelona. In New York, LEVEL airlines will offer a daily flight throughout the season (from April to October). Los Angeles and Boston will also have daily flights for the first time from June to September, and six and five services per week respectively, the rest of the months. This represents a 65% increase in seats in Boston and a 57% increase in Los Angeles, compared to the same period in 2023.

The seasonal route from San Francisco will also resume from March 31, with four weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays -three during October-, providing the American market more options to explore Barcelona from the West Coast with non-stop flights.
