With a rural atmosphere and varied climate, Campos do Jordão enchants with its exuberant nature, standing out for the striking presence of Araucárias and Hortênsias. The transformation of old farms into important tourist parks boosted the development of rural tourism in the region.

Campos do Jordão State Park

The Campos do Jordão State Park, known as Horto Florestal, protected since 1941, covers around a third of the municipality's area. Its environmental importance is undeniable, housing a rich diversity of fauna and flora, including endangered species. The place also stands out as a gastronomic destination, with Grupo Dona Chica offering delicacies from the forest prepared by chef Anderson Oliveira.

Amantikir

The Amantikir private garden, maintained by landscaper Walter Vasconcellos since 1995, enchants visitors with its collection of 26 gardens inspired by different countries, totaling 700 species of plants in 60,000m². Accessibility to all gardens, accommodation and restaurant complement the experience, making the place pet-friendly and ideal for photo shoots.

Tarandu

Ricardo Lenz, mechanical engineer, transformed an area of 500 thousand square meters into Tarandu Park, offering a wide range of activities for the whole family, from zip lining to ice skating. The recent opening of the inn with four suites gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy the park during the day and night.

Felícia Leirner Museum

The Felícia Leirner Museum pays homage to the renowned Brazilian sculptor with a vast collection of her works, displayed outdoors in the park. The Cláudio Santoro Auditorium, integrated into the complex, hosts cultural events, providing a unique experience of art and nature.

Bambuí Park and Itapeva Park

Toriba Farm, transformed into Bambuí Park, invites visitors to enjoy nature and experience the Serra da Mantiqueira. While Parque Itapeva offers a stunning view of the Paraíba Valley, with its fields of lavender and red fruits, as well as developing new structures to enrich the visitor experience, such as a medieval park and a lake.

Prana Park

On the farm, which is also a park, visitors can enjoy two well-structured restaurants, live music and interaction with horses free range in nature. Furthermore, the highlight of the Park is the 350 meter long aerial bike and the 1 km mega zipline, guaranteeing exciting moments for everyone who visits the region.

Roberto de Lucena, Secretary of Tourism and Travel of the State of São Paulo, said: "The government has already transferred, in 2023, around R$36 million (approximately US$7.4 million) to the region. In the first eight months of the year, the city of Campos do Jordão alone received around R$ 3.2 million (653 thousand dollars) from the State. In October, the Government of the State of São Paulo also authorized the investment of R$ 61.8 million to the region of Vale do Paraíba for new agreements. These resources are destined for tourist infrastructure works", said the Secretary of Tourism and Travel of the State of São Paulo.
