Where the Vichada savannah meets the jungle, there are jaguars, tapirs, chiguiros, caimans, anacondas, birds and deer that accompany visitors, while they enjoy the best fishing experience of their lives.
The travel agency takes clients in search of the prized peacock bass: a trophy fish coveted by fishermen from every corner of our planet. The trip begins with a private charter flight only for company groups. Then we cross the savannah of the eastern plains of Colombia where boats and guides await visitors to navigate the Tomo River, towards the only floating cabins for sport fishing in the country.
The experience continues with the gastronomy of the region: typical Llaneros, Colombian and international dishes served by an international chef. All included in a week to disconnect from the routine and connect with nature.
Afloat Adventure works hand in hand with the local and indigenous Sikuani and Piaroa communities, implementing cultural and social projects. It offers constant job opportunities for communities, hand in hand with local mayors and encouraging environmental responsibility. It also provides training to the most remote and vulnerable populations of the Eastern Plains.
The fishing season runs from January to March. Travelers do not need to be professional fishermen, and they will have guides to help them in the sport fishing process.
