In its fourth inclusive edition so that “no one is left behind and no one is left out,” the governor of Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama Espinosa, was also present; Secretaries of Tourism, leaders of Associations and Chambers, and officials from the three levels of Government, who highlighted the importance of inclusion in the tourism sector.

In addition, it was reported that a manual will be delivered so that the Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos also has the direction of inclusion.

As he toured the stands and pavilions, he congratulated everyone who has made it possible for Acapulco to stand up, thanking the people of Acapulco, an Acapulco that will continue to shine, continue to be brave and full of joy.

The Mayan Train pavilion was inaugurated, with the states of Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo promoting it, with the aim of publicizing one of the options to explore the southeast of the country.

In this sense, the Mayan World pavilion was also inaugurated, which once again had a presence as a multi-destination region made up of Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.

When carrying out the ribbon cutting of the Acapulco pavilion, the rapid recovery of the port was highlighted thanks to the solidarity of all of Mexico after the passage of Hurricane “Otis” last October.

He appreciated the support he always had from the governor of the state of Guerrero to be able to carry out this edition that at first seemed impossible but that, with the participation of the private sector, society as a whole and, above all, the coordination of the three government orders were possible.

Within the framework of the Tianguis Turístico and with the invitation of the president of Asetur, Juan Enrique Suárez del Real Tostado, Torruco Marqués participated in the LIV Ordinary Assembly of the Association of Secretaries of Tourism of Mexico, where he congratulated all the members of this important association , who from their states have provided the best effort so that national tourism activity continues moving forward, recovering step by step its strength and relevance as a strategic sector.

In this vein, the members of Asetur extended recognition to the head of Sectur for his invaluable support in promoting the Association and the tourism sector.

Within the framework of the celebration of the Mexico 2024 Tourist Tianguis, the meeting of the Tourism Commission of the National Conference of Governors (CONAGO) was held, where the Secretary of Tourism referred to the good state of tourism activity in Mexico in the different areas of tourist activity.

He highlighted that, thanks to the joint effort between the federal, state and municipal governments, as well as private initiative, there is a dynamic and vigorous tourism sector, with new and numerous products that attract millions of tourists, which generate greater economic benefits. , they increase employment and promote investment, and above all, they benefit local populations, in this way, Mexico reaffirms itself as a tourism power.
