The 46th Abav Travel SP in Campinas brought new things

Waltrick praised the previous administrations as the main cause of the achievements of the edition of Abav Travel SP in Campinas.

Ana Carolina Medeiros de Souza, president of Abav Nacional and Expo Abav, director of Taguatur Transportes and the travel agency Taguatur Turismo, highlighted that the work of the travel agent is very important to generate a positive tourist experience, avoiding problems. On the other hand, she wants the traveler to be strong, competent and professional.

Antonio Dias, general director of the Royal Palm Hotels and Resorts hotel chain, opened the complex in Campinas for technical visits by the travel agents present at Abav Travel SP.

Raffaele Cecere, CEO of the R1 Group, which since 2004 has been working on solutions for corporate events, renting lighting, sound, projection and textile scenography equipment, also took the stage and spoke about ways to celebrate in-person, hybrid and digital events.

Celso Guelfi, general director of GTA - Global Travel Assistance, expressed his devotion to the event, of which his company is one of the main sponsors since the fair was the exclusive property of Aviesp. Alexandra Caprioli, Secretary of Tourism and Culture of Campinas, said that she was happy to welcome Abav Travel SP to Campinas.

The Secretary of Tourism and Travel of the State of São Paulo, Roberto de Lucena, highlighted the importance of people in the tourism sector, citing Juliana Assumpção, business director of ABAV São Paulo, as a key figure in the relationship between agents of travel and the secretariat. . He also highlighted investments in connectivity and the reduction of ICMS in the tourism sector, in addition to investments in flights at the airports of São José dos Campos, Barretos and França. He spoke of the Creditur program, launched six months ago, which has already injected more than 1,000 million reais in qualified credits to boost tourism in the state. Lucena highlighted that São Paulo has the largest tourist infrastructure in the country and mentioned plans to revitalize the center of the capital, in addition to announcing state initiatives such as the wine circuit, the coffee circuit, rodeos and religious tourism.

Bruno Waltrick stated that the 46th edition should surpass all figures compared to previous editions.
