This proposal seeks to rescue and highlight the ancestral knowledge of the indigenous peoples of Putumayo
Putumayo is the gateway to the Amazon. Its capital, Mocoa, combines the tropical jungle and the Andes mountain range in perfect harmony. In the west of the capital is the Sibundoy Valley, where the Kamsá and Inga natives live, in the south the Amazon begins with the city of Villagarcón and the rivers begin to take the shape of a snake along with flat green landscapes. Mocoa has everything that the Amazon rainforest offers: a wide variety of endangered animals that include parrots, toucans, monkeys, tapirs, chigüiro, tigers, panthers, spectacled bears and a wide variety of birds.
