Costa Rica showed the most innovative and innovative of its tourism offer at the World Travel Market Latin America (WTM LATAM), cataloged as the most important tourism fair in Latin America and with the primary objective of attracting more tourists from emerging markets in South America such as Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Colombia.  

This edition of WTM LATAM took place from April 15 to 17 at the North Exhibition Center in Sao Pablo Brazil and all participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest travel trends, discover new products, expand their network of contacts and find opportunities. to boost their businesses.

Costa Rica's presence at WTM LATAM allowed excellent business opportunities for tourism entrepreneurs, better return on investment and access to qualified buyers and influencers of the travel and tourism industry, professionals from all fields, such as travel agencies, vehicle rental, travel operators, accommodation, airlines, cruises, luxury products and technology, among others who were able to learn about Costa Rica's tourism product, its sustainability model and natural and cultural attractions. In addition, the country was promoted as an example of global sustainability and as a destination available to visit all year round with an offer of multiple activities in the national territory.

“This week we are in Sao Pablo, Brazil. We come to present our tourism product to this market for the second consecutive year in the company of nine Costa Rican companies. It is an important market and we know the potential to offer, both to Brazilians and other markets in the southern cone such as Argentina and Chile, to generate business and tourists for the near future," said Carolina Trejos, marketing director of the Costa Rican Institute. of Tourism. 

The Costa Rica stand stood out with a modern design and large format images that show the beauty of the beaches, Costa Rican folklore, the majesty of the forests, rivers, volcanoes, hot springs and some representatives of our fauna such as toucans, quetzals and sloths. . It also highlights “Pura Vida” and how Costa Rica today is “more essential than ever” for all potential travelers who want to connect with nature. Some promotional billboards located throughout the venue stood out, inviting attendees to visit stand G80 from above and from the ground. A huge red-eyed frog measuring several meters in size stood out, placed on the floor of one of the highest traffic hallways.

This business meeting was attended by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute and nine companies in the tourism sector: Hotel Sanada, Best Of Costa Rica Tour Operator & DMC, Green World Adventures, Unique Adventures Costa Rica, Il Viaggio Travel, Costa Rica Top Tours, Destination Services Costa Rica, Adobe Rent a Car and Meridianos Tour Operator.
