WTM Latin America concludes 2024 edition with growth and confirms dates for 2025

The 2024 edition of WTM Latin America concluded with the announcement of an increase in all metrics, from visitor entry to exhibition area

A total of 29,247 participants attended the fair, an increase of 8.1% compared to the 27,044 attendees in 2023. 

The 797 exhibiting brands represented a growth of 28% compared to the previous edition, occupying 7,393 square meters of the pavilions, an increase of 20% in commercial area.

The number of meetings confirmed through the ConnectMe platform increased by 8.5%: from 6,358 in 2023 to 6,903 in 2024. Throughout the halls, exhibitors celebrated the connections and contracts signed during the event.

The three theaters hosted 54 conferences and training sessions, in addition to the highly attended Speed ​​Networking sessions with international guest buyers, national buyers and digital influencers. 

The highlight of the edition was the launch of the Diversity Route, which showed 20 projects led by different exhibitors in three different segments: Afrotourism, LGBTQIAP+ Tourism and 60+ Tourism. 

"We want to encourage great projects, and this was the first step to give visibility to companies that are having success in different communities and segments of the travel industry," said Bianca Pizzolito, director of WTM Latin America, emphasizing the commitment to continue the Route in the next years.

Some of the highlights of the fair included the debut participation of many companies, destinations and airlines, including the Tanzania Tourism Board, Belize Tourism Board (BTB), TAAG Angola Airlines, Cayman Islands and Guatemala, as well as of the return of the Gol, Azul/Smiles airlines. and LATAM/Delta.

WTM Latin America also received delegates from Nicaragua, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Uruguay, Barbados, Cuba, Costa Rica, Belize, Italy, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Maldives, Tanzania and the United States . , as well as private companies from Europe, Asia and the Middle East. There was massive representation from Brazilian states, including newcomers Campos do Jordão, Joinville and Fortaleza.

WTM Latin America 2025 will take place from Monday to Wednesday, April 14 to 16, at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.
