Showing its colors and the distinctive essence of each of its municipalities, Puerto Plata received during the day of the fair, hundreds of tour operators, agents and media, attracted by the experiential proposal that was projected from the stand, where the delegation offered exhaustive information about the new image with which they are projecting themselves to the world.
“We are very pleased with our participation in DATE 2024; It has been one of the most successful versions in which we have been as a destination. The number of appointments, the attendance of professionals from the sector who visited us, has exceeded all our expectations,” said Birgitt Heinsen, president of the Cluster.
The delegation that presented credentials at DATE 2024 was made up of presidents, executive directors and members of the Destination Tourism Cluster (CTDPP) and the Associations of Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Companies of the North (ASHONORTE), of Playa Dorada Hotels (ADHPD) and Hotels, Restaurants of Sosúa and Cabarete (ASHORESOCA) together with its member companies and entities: Ocean World Adventure Park, Chukka Caribbean, Universal Aviation, The Ocean Club Group, Macorix House of Rum, Senator Hotels and Resorts, Nature River Park and VH Hotels & Resorts, Viva Resorts.
