Saint Lucia is one of the Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, located halfway through the Eastern Caribbean archipelago.

The destination is known for its natural beauty and various attractions, including the iconic Piton Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Culturally rich offerings include the bustling capital market of Castries, picturesque fishing villages along the coast, and the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival and Saint Lucia Carnival Festival. The wide range of accommodation includes world-class five-star hotels, resorts, all-inclusive resorts and intimate inns. Saint Lucia is also home to world-class cruise and yachting facilities. The island is continually recognized as one of the world's leading wedding and honeymoon destinations.

During our stay in this destination, we stayed at Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa, an unforgettable paradise, where you experience adventure, relaxation and refreshment, all in one place. Combining business and pleasure is easy at Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa, with complimentary access to the business center and well-equipped meeting rooms and meeting venues for events. Brides and grooms can be enchanted by using the elegant wedding gazebo and arch. And, of course, relaxation lovers have the opportunity to enjoy a getaway to the luxurious La Mer Spa.

We also enjoyed Cap Maison Resort & Spa , where we tasted high-level local cuisine and wines specially chosen for the occasion. This is an elegant luxury hotel and private villas with its own secluded sandy beach. Being private yet close to the fashionable Rodney Bay area, it is located in one of the most sought after locations on the island, attracting both active visitors and those seeking a relaxed retreat.

We closed the first day of the Saint Lucia tour by visiting Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party. The famous seafood street party takes place on Friday nights in the popular fishing village of Gros Islet in Saint Lucia.

We also visited Sulfur Springs, where we took mud baths with hot springs. Sulfur Springs is a geothermal field located southwest in the Soufriere district, a name given by the French that means 'sulfur mine', due to the proximity of the town to the deposit.

Next, we visited Project Chocolat to produce our own chocolate with local artisan raw materials. This site provides a unique experience of living the process and transformation of chocolate from tree to bar within the rainforest at the Rabot Estate in Saint Lucia of the Chocolat Hotel.

And later, we toured Anse Chastanet Resort, one of the most iconic properties in Saint Lucia. The hotel makes foliage and flowers, perfumes and mountains, sea and birdsong an integral part of your vacation experience. The estate encompasses 600 lush tropical acres bordering two soft sand beaches.

A dozen rooms are hidden behind the coconut trees that line the beach and the rest tiptoe up a flower-covered hillside. To make the most of the panoramic views and cooling trade winds, the whitewashed octagonal cabins feature wraparound flower-covered balconies and shuttered windows.

Finally, we had the opportunity to visit Jade Mountain Resort , where we tasted the excellent cuisine offered by the luxurious property. This has large spaces where the bedroom, the living room and an extravagant private infinity pool slide together to form extraordinary platforms that float in nature. With the fourth wall completely absent, the Jade Mountain sanctuaries are settings that embrace the World Heritage Pitons of Saint Lucia and, of course, the eternal Caribbean Sea.

Enjoying exclusivity and privacy is possible at Jade Mountain with all the restaurants, bars, boutiques, art gallery, spa, diving, cycling and water sports facilities of sister resort Anse Chastanet, as well as 2 soft sand beaches available and easy access for Jade Mountain guests by foot or resort shuttle at all times.
