Arajet, the low-price airline of the Caribbean, and the Puntacana Group signed an agreement so that the flights of said airline will begin to operate at the Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) as of November 1 to expand the network of destinations and connections on the continent.

This was announced by Frank Elías Rainieri, CEO of Grupo Puntacana and Víctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet, who indicated that this alliance will have an extraordinary impact on the number of passengers transported by Arajet, strengthening the arrival of visitors in the Eastern zone of the Republic. Pacheco explained that the Punta Cana Airport will become Arajet's second base, to offer the opportunity to this tourist area to connect with the robust network of destinations and the more than 200 combinations of connections that Arajet offers, which will continue to have as central base at the Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo.
