CATA joins the Infrastructure Congress: Airports, axis of inclusive development in Central America

Mobility and logistics are key to the connectivity of the tourist multi-destination in Central America. With efficient airports, economic and social development is promoted.

In Congress, leaders and decision makers have stressed the urgency of investing in and improving Guatemala's airports. In that context, Harris Whitebeck, Minister of Tourism of hashtag #Guatemala ?? and Peter Cerdá, Regional Vice President for the Americas of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) share visions on a sustainable tourism model.

Additionally, the President of Guatemala, Bernardo Arevalo, President of Guatemala (2024-2028) has announced the bidding for La Aurora International Airport through a public-private partnership.

This fact will undoubtedly change the country's business card to the world, boosting tourism in Central America.
