Punta Cana, the No. 1 destination for Argentines for these winter holidays

Punta Cana is one of the most chosen destinations to travel to this mid-year vacation. And it is not surprising, since one of the harshest winters is expected in Argentina, so many prefer to escape to warm areas with endless white sand beaches and palm trees. 

According to the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, 199,676 Argentines traveled in 2023, that is, 12% more than the previous year, with Punta Cana being one of the places most chosen by 48% of tourists. 

This same report highlights that May and July were the months chosen by Argentines to enjoy the beaches of the Dominican Republic with the arrival of 21,219 and 18,382 Argentines, respectively.

And of course, its beauty dazzles from the moment you arrive, as you observe its white sands, beautiful blue lagoons and colorful reefs. The beaches and all-inclusive resorts are perhaps its biggest attraction.
