Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, SA and member of the global airline network Star Alliance, inaugurated
new routes to and from two new destinations in America: Tulum, Mexico and Florianópolis, Brazil. With the incorporation of these destinations, the Airline expands its network to 85 destinations in 32 countries in Central, South, North America and the Caribbean.

Starting today, Copa Airlines connects the magical city of Tulum, located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, with the Hub of the Americas® in Panama. This tourist destination located south of Quintana Roo in the Riviera Maya, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, is famous for its wide variety of experiences. Visitors will be able to enjoy its rich
archaeological, cultural and spiritual offering, as well as ecotourism parks, cenotes, art, gastronomy and natural reserves.

Now, with direct flights to Tulum, we open the door to visitors from more than 60 cities, promoting the wonders and natural wealth of our state. This new route to Tulum, in addition to bringing

This new connection becomes the airline's fifth destination in Mexico, joining Mexico City, Cancun, Guadalajara and Monterrey. Copa Airlines flight CM488 to Tulum will operate with four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing Panama at 07:45 am (local time) and arriving at Tulum International Airport, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, at 10:19 am (local time).
The return flight CM499 will depart the same days from Tulum at 11:57 am, arriving in Panama at 02:23 pm (local time).

To continue strengthening its connectivity in the Brazilian market, Copa Airlines inaugurates a new route in Florianópolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina. This city, affectionately called Floripa and known as the “Island of Magic”, offers more than 100 beaches with crystal-clear waters and white sands, as well as a rich culture and impressive natural landscapes.
Florianópolis becomes the airline's seventh destination in Brazil. This new route initially operates with three weekly frequencies: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Flight CM423 departs Panama at 03:23 pm (local time) and arrives at Hercílio Luz International Airport at 12:22 am (local time). The return flight, CM424, departs Florianópolis at 01:25 am, arriving in Panama at 06:30 am (local time) on Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays.
Copa Airlines currently operates an average of 360 daily flights through the Hub of the Americas, the connection center with the most international flights in the region, located at the Tocumen International Airport, in Panama City, and from where it connects to 85 cities. from 32 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
Maintaining its leadership in the region, Copa Airlines was recognized by Cirium as the “Most Punctual Airline in Latin America in 2023”, with a punctuality rate of 89.46%, positioning itself among the three most punctual airlines worldwide.
Additionally, the airline was named one of the Top 15 International Airlines in Conde Nast Traveler's 2023 Readers' Choice Awards, being the only one from the Americas region on the list. It has also been recognized, once again, for the ninth consecutive year, with the SKYTRAX award as the best airline in Central America and the Caribbean in 2024.
