The Ministry of Tourism, the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) and the Port Authority of Aruba (APA) announce that Aruba will officially host the PAMAC Cruise Summit 2025, one of the most important and recognized events for the cruise industry in North America and Latin America.

In 2017, Aruba successfully hosted the PAMAC (Platinum Associate Member Advisory Council) Summit and is extremely pleased to welcome back this prestigious event in 2025. The announcement was made during the ongoing PAMAC event in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

ATA CEO Ronella Croes, APA CEO Marc Figaroa, together with Patrick Melchiors, Mario Arends and Monica Bos, presented this information, including some welcoming remarks from the Minister of Tourism.

The PAMAC conference is a popular platform that includes senior executives from the cruise tourism industry, both from cruise lines and other industry partners. Organized by the Florida and Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), this event is dedicated exclusively to cruise line executives who are considered FCCA Platinum Members.

In recent years, Aruba has experienced several constructions and renovations that have led to an increase in popularity and competitiveness as a first-class tourist destination.

A key aspect that the PAMAC Cruise Summit 2025 will bring to Aruba is the opportunity to showcase recent developments, activities and excursions available on the island. Additionally, the conference will focus on several important topics, including attracting smaller, more luxurious ships, as well as attracting ships during the off-season.

The goal of this initiative is to enhance the Aruba experience and promote sustainable growth in the cruise industry.

Sustainability remains a central theme in the cruise industry, and this conference will emphasize its importance by aligning Aruba’s strategies with the global cruise industry.

A PAMAC Cruise Summit typically lasts two to three days and includes a variety of activities such as meetings, functions and excursions. The first few days facilitate interaction between cruise executives, local partners and government representatives. This interaction is considered crucial before cruise executives meet with the 'platinum' members.

Aruba hosting the 2025 PAMAC Cruise Summit is a testament to Aruba’s commitment to excellence in the tourism industry. The Ministry of Tourism, the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) and the Aruba Port Authority (APA) eagerly anticipate the opportunity to showcase all that Aruba has to offer, including enhanced offerings and strengthening strong relationships with cruise line executives.
