Guanacaste Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network, has installed two new service areas for passenger use, thereby promoting a more comprehensive experience at the airport terminal.
The first area is a children's entertainment zone. It is designed for children between 3 and 8 years old. The space has a dimension of 5 m x 3.5 m and is suitable for up to 9 children at a time.
The second area is a breastfeeding area so that mothers can have a safe and optimal space for the care and feeding of their children. The space is equipped with two seats, a refrigerator,
a sink and personal hygiene supplies.
These works are in addition to the pet space that the airport has, as well as the three dynamos installed in the boarding area so that tourists can charge their cell phones by pedaling and a self-service touch zone
that runs on solar energy.
The terminal has facilities and procedures for the proper, safe and comfortable treatment of people with reduced mobility, who transit through the airport daily in accordance with Law 7600, which includes Braille, bathrooms,
elevators and access ramps.
Guanacaste Airport has been recognized with the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award for having the most dedicated staff in Latin America by Airports Council International.
“These improvements are part of Guanacaste Airport's commitment to promoting a comprehensive experience. Based on the profile of our passengers, we create functional spaces to provide an airport that is suitable for and
in line with their needs and expectations. We are committed to ensuring that tourists have a quality experience from the moment they arrive in the country,” said César Jaramillo, general manager of Guanacaste Airport.
