The event aimed to reward travel agents who stood out and achieved the best scores in the loyalty program. The host hotel was Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya Suites, where in addition to cocktails, dinners and a gala evening, the outstanding participants were duly recognized.
The evening was hosted by João Abegão, Commercial Director of the Americas, Luis Salgado, Director of BDM's in Mexico, together with their team composed of Carlos Garza BDM from the northern zone, Angélica Soriano BDM from the central zone, José García BDM from the western zone and Bajío, and Andrea Torres BDM from the southeast zone, in addition to the Marketing team by Leticia Sánchez, head of marketing in Mexico, Mario Rodríguez and César Gómez, responsible for Iberostar PRO and the Star Agents Platform.
The event included cocktails on the beach, cooking classes where the best ceviche and guacamole dishes were awarded, educational sessions where news such as the new hotel in Aruba were announced, and tours of the hotel, the gala night was full of surprises. In addition to the incredible setting and decoration of the place where the stars were simulated, the event included an impressive presentation of pre-Hispanic dances that involved the participants in Mayan traditions, followed by a dinner and the presentation of a mariachi group that made everyone present sing.
After the announcement of the grand prizes, attendees enjoyed a lively dance to celebrate the special moment.
Created in 2020, the Star Agents program aims to strengthen Iberostar's relationship with travel agents. Through this program, agents accumulate points that they can redeem for stays at Iberostar hotels around the world, in addition to gaining access to exclusive benefits and special promotions. The platform has more than 2,800 travel agencies, of which 38 were invited, although in this event all the invited AAVV were winners, 12 AAVV stood out for their production and were recognized as the most productive in their region.
