The awards were presented within the framework of the implementation of the National Tourism Quality System (SNCT), at an event that took place at the Senatur stand at MRA's Expo 2024.

Senatur, in coordination with the authorities of the tenth department, promoted the socialization and adhesion of the companies providing tourist services from Ciudad del Este, Minga Guazú, Santa Rita, Juan E. Oleary, Juan León Mallorquín and Yguazú, with a total of 38 adherents.

In this context, workshops were held to disseminate good practice manuals, train in first aid, and train on Law 825, which declares 100% smoke-free tobacco products in common areas and closed spaces of non-hotel and restaurant establishments.

In addition, the management of documentation required by the National Tourism Registry-REGISTUR, the authorisation of establishments by municipalities, reference designs for the presentation of the work of implementing the manual, among others, were taken into account for the recognition.

Currently, there are 7 tourist providers in Alto Paraná that have obtained 80% of the requirements to hold the Tourism Quality Seal.

The companies that benefit are: Mburuvicha Restaurant and Ravello Ristorante Italiano, from Ciudad del Este; Doña Brígida Steakhouse, Cabaña Mi Querido Viejo, from Juan. L. Mallorquín; Laguna Chata Tourist Inn, from Minga Guazú; Parque Asahí Resort from Yguazú, and MJM Lodging, from Santa Rita. They apply quality standards aimed at visitors, thus positioning the town where they are located as a quality destination.
