Club MICE Partners opens branch in Lisbon

After opening in the Balearic Islands, the Basque Country and the Canary Islands, this summer the Club of companies specializing in business tourism is expanding to Lisbon with the help of the agency One Event Portugal

The events agency One Event Portugal, led by its Country Manager Nuno Ribeiro, joins MICE Partners as the Club's delegate for the Lisbon region, contributing its experience in the organisation of business events in the Portuguese region and in different destinations in Portugal, such as Porto, the Douro Valley, Évora, Algarve and the islands of Madeira and the Azores. 

One Event Portugal is an agency with a clear positioning: “Our key values ​​are a very personal approach, flexibility in our business models and the creation of a long-term collaborative relationship with our main clients,” explains Ribeiro.

In the words of Alessia Comis (Pidelaluna events), co-founder of the MICE Partners Club together with Lorena Vaca from LVG Eventos, “With the Lisbon branch we started to weave a network of collaborators in Europe with a clear objective: to benefit our buyers. In addition to selecting and inviting the most suitable national and international agencies based on each destination and each Fam Trip, we focus on pampering them and offering them what they really want for their clients. Our Fam Trips are very oriented towards specific results and we know that we can achieve the same level of excellence in other destinations with the help of our branches: Eventi3 in the Basque Country, 5 Senses Lifestyle Spain in the Canary Islands and now One Event Portugal in Lisbon.”

At this moment the Club is made up of 17 members and 4 delegations and the next Fam Trip in the Balearic Islands are from September 21 to 23 and from November 22 to 24.

MICE Partners was founded in March 2024 as a collaborative platform where all partners commit to working to make the events industry more sustainable, experiences more memorable and the destination stronger through a positive legacy. The Club aims to be sustainable, ethical and transparent, oriented towards long-term commitment and results, for the benefit of the entire MICE value chain.

Sharing requests and results between Partners is a challenge that is approached from the perspective of “coopetition”, which is key to working as a team on a project that aims to highlight the talent and strengths of each Club member and each Destination.

In fact, MICE Partners aims to collaborate with a variety of destinations through its branches, always seeking to align the Fam Trip with its positioning strategy and target markets.

Careful segmentation, a network structure, a committee of experts and delegations in different autonomous communities and European countries, small-scale events, custom-designed and carefully curated, in which
memorable experiences associated with the Destination's strengths are lived, local products are tasted and experiences and emotions are shared: a simple formula for a project that aims to leave a legacy of excellence and sustainability wherever it goes.
