The Happiest Place on Earth will soon be filled with sparkling décor, festive fun and more when Holidays at the Disneyland Resort returns November 15, 2024, through January 6, 2025. Guests of all ages will be able to recreate heartfelt traditions and discover their favorite holidays, including riding “it's a small world” Holiday and other beloved attractions, celebrating the multicultural Disney Festival of Holidays, and witnessing
grand holiday décor throughout the Disneyland Resort.
Guests can enjoy the reimagined all-new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, opening Nov. 15, 2024, in Bayou Country at Disneyland Park. Additionally, guests can meet Santa Claus and select Disney Characters at the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park, search for hidden ornaments throughout the Downtown Disney District on Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail hunt and enjoy new cultural groups at Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park. Additionally, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and friends will debut new outfits at Disneyland Park, and Storytellers Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will offer an all-new, winter-inspired breakfast and brunch experience.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure Debuts Nov. 15 at Disneyland Park
Adding to the excitement of the holiday season, the story of Princess Tiana will come to life in a new way at Disneyland Resort when Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens Nov. 15, 2024, at Disneyland Park. Featuring original music, favorite songs and incredible details, guests will join Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis as they meet familiar characters, make new friends and journey through the bayou. The
attraction builds on the Princess Tiana storytelling that guests can already enjoy in unique ways at Disneyland Resort, whether shopping at Eudora's Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana's Gourmet Secrets or dining at Tiana's Palace quick-service restaurant. Reimagined shops coming to Bayou Country at Disneyland Park, Ray's Berets and Louis' Critter Club, will feature themed merchandise inspired by the attraction that will further immerse you in Princess Tiana's world.
Diverse Celebrations Inspire Disney Festival of Holidays and Disney ¡Viva Navidad!
The welcoming and vibrant Disney Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure Park, highlighting a diverse season of celebrations in Southern California with a wide array of delicious food and beverages, a variety of live entertainment, unique festival merchandise and much more.
Guests will be able to indulge in new menu items at the Festive Food Marketplaces. The Sip and Savor Pass, available for purchase in four- or eight-voucher versions, can be redeemed digitally for select food and non-alcoholic beverages at participating marketplaces and restaurants throughout Disney California Adventure Park.*
Lively, vibrant entertainment expands the range of diversity and brings high energy to holiday fun. A host of new cultural groups, along with old favorites, will perform upbeat music and dance in a variety of genres. Additionally, guests can enjoy the rhythms of the holidays as iconic Disney characters parade to the beat of festive music during the "Mickey's Happy Holidays" cavalcade.
Paradise Gardens will be home to the return of Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, a cultural celebration featuring daily arts and crafts, specialty dishes at Paradise Garden Grill, live music and décor inspired by Latin American traditions, with a Disney twist. Here, guests can encounter Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, The Three Caballeros and Mirabel from Disney Animation’s “Encanto.” The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party will be featured on select days, featuring The Three Caballeros joined by Mexican folk dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and drummers, and more. On days when Disney ¡Viva Navidad! is not scheduled, guests can find Mirabel from “Encanto” or Miguel from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” in festive shows celebrating the holidays and the gift of family, in front of the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park. Holiday Décor, Entertainment and Dining at Disneyland Resort
Beloved Disney characters come together for a joyous musical celebration during “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” at Disneyland Park. Each night, fireworks and heartwarming music bring the season to life during the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Park.
“Snow” is scheduled to fall nightly along the Rivers of America near “it’s a small world” Holiday and on portions of Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Park. Hundreds of fountains will dance to holiday music and sparkling “snowflakes” will fill Paradise Bay each night during the wonderful “World of Color – Season of Light” nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park.
Guests will also be able to enjoy, for a limited time, dozens of holiday-themed dishes and beverages, including returning hits like Mickey Gingerbread. New items available throughout the season include the Holiday Stainless Steel Tumbler. For amazing snacks and special show views, Plaza Inn dining packages and a special parade for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” and a dessert party that includes seating for “World of Color – Season of Light” will be available for reservation at DisneylandEspanol.com later this year.
Guests can hear holiday stories about Walt and the Disney family during the Holiday Time at Disneyland Resort Guided Tour.** It includes holiday-themed treats and a reserved space for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade.”
Several new holiday merchandise collections will be found throughout the Disneyland Resort, including the Mickey Mouse Family Christmas, Holiday Red and Snowman collections. Ideal for gifting to friends and family, a variety of joyful merchandise will adorn the aisles of festive shops including World of Disney, Emporium, Elias & Co. and more.
This year, Santa Claus and select characters will visit and create photo memories with guests at the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park, where cookie decorating, crafting, storytelling and ambient music will also be available throughout the day. Santa will also make stops along the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Disney California Adventure Park, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel through Dec. 24. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and friends will make appearances at Disneyland Park in all-new outfits that invite thoughtful holiday letters. Select characters will also dress for the occasion on Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure Park.
At Disneyland Park, “it’s a small world” Holiday will transport guests on a humorous global tour, while Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” will bring seasonal surprises to Haunted Mansion Holiday. In Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will transform to become Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
Sparkling holiday décor will grace both theme parks, Downtown Disney District and Disney Hotels. From Nov. 29 through Jan. 5, snow will also fall on the reimagined west end of Downtown Disney District. Throughout Downtown Disney District, guests will also be able to search for special ornaments along the new Chip and Dale's Ornament Trail from Nov. 22, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2025. Guests can purchase an activity map at select retailers in Downtown Disney District and Disney Hotels to aid in their search and redeem it at World of Disney or Disney's Pin Traders for a holiday keepsake.
Disneyland Resort hotels will feature special holiday offerings and entertainment. The lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will showcase a stunning gingerbread house inspired by pastries and sweet treats, as well as Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Café featuring seasonal décor and select characters sporting new pajamas. Additionally, Tenaya Stone Spa will feature bookable holiday experiences such as the signature Underneath the Tree massage and Warmth of Holiday foot treatment. “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” at Disneyland Hotel will once again feature Chef Goofy and friends dressed in their holiday finest. New décor will adorn the colorful, contemporary setting of Pixar
Place Hotel for its first-ever holiday season.
