Sandals Resorts International recently announced a complete transformation in The Bahamas, bringing the Beaches Resorts brand to the Caribbean destination. In 2025, the hotel chain will open Beaches Exuma, the first all-inclusive family resort on the island, known for its famous swimming pigs, rich marine ecosystems, crystal-clear waters and expansive white-sand beaches.

The new Beaches Exuma will feature a new accommodation configuration, with multi-bedroom villas, suites and connecting rooms, as well as changes to its 12 restaurants and culinary offerings, the development of a new kids’ camp, a splash pad and many more options that will provide new adventure opportunities for families. It will also offer a first-class experience, while retaining the full Red Lane Spa and access to the 18-hole Emerald Bay golf course.

To make this transformation possible in The Bahamas, Sandals Resorts International has closed Sandals Emerald Bay, located on the same island, for a complete refurbishment that will make way for the new Beaches Exuma.
