In a few days, the Latin American International Tourism Fair -FIT- will open its doors to become the epicenter of world tourism. With the expectation of exceeding 125 thousand visitors, FIT is preparing for an edition full of novelties.
“We work throughout the year to ensure that visitors to FIT are surprised, discover new destinations, enjoy classic destinations in a different way and experience tourism with all the passion it generates. That is why more than 50 countries and all the provinces of Argentina are specially preparing to offer the best at FIT. Once again, as from the first day, FIT is going to surprise,” said Andrés Deyá, president of FIT and of the Argentine Federation of Travel and Tourism Business Associations – FAEVYT – the entity organizing the event.
FIT OUTDOOR, on the Central Court of La Rural, will be a new space designed exclusively for visitors to learn about all the tourism options in non-traditional accommodations, tours and excursions that complement their trips, water, land and air sports, educational trips, historical tours, optional means of transport, travel experiences and equipment. The different destinations in Argentina and abroad will be able to offer their tourist attractions in a more relaxed way with various activities to promote their offers. Some of the highlighted attractions will be: hot air balloon, bicycle test, 4x4 jeep, caravans and trailers, among others. Among the participating exhibitors: Puerto Madryn; Jujuy; Uruguay; Geodomos; Camión Truck Viajes Tastil; Globos Aerostáticos La Chacra; Universal Assistance; Itati Rodantes; Expomar Gines Rodantes; Secretaría de Turismo; Scoot Bike; Astillero Arco Iris; Cinzia; Pedalear; Córdoba Turismo; Domos Argentina.
FIT FOOD will celebrate the connection between tourism and gastronomy, offering an experience that will include colors, flavors and aromas from all over the country. This sector will bring together exhibitors, chefs and local producers to offer tastings, cooking demonstrations and talks about the latest gastronomic trends. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy the 4th edition of the Campionato Pizzaioli with professional pizza categories from all over South America who will be advised by Scuola Pizzaioli and a distinguished jury. Tastings will be offered to the general public and thematic workshops and masterclasses will also be held. This fourth edition will have more than 100 registered participants, more than 500 competitions and 8 ovens will be active ready for the competition. There will be a 100% Italian jury, made up of resident representatives from the country and prominent international figures.
Finally, FIT CRUCEROS is intended for a wide variety of exhibitors to present their products and services, such as cruise or river tour companies, representatives and marketing companies, port cities, receptives, land services, among others. Here, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the latest offers and promotions, learn about the destinations reached, and connect with experts to continue generating business.
A space designed taking into account the growth in demand for cruises as one of the trending products for Argentine tourists.
The new sectors will coexist with a renewed FIT TECH sector, which will feature the ninth edition of the Travel Forum Latam, where representatives of the tourism ecosystem will reflect and debate on Innovation, Technology, Hospitality, Investments and Sustainability; analyzing the global opportunities and challenges of tourism from the perspective of the various actors in the sector.
