Patagonia is the most hospitable region in Argentina in 2024

Three provinces in the south of Argentina lead the Booking.com Travel Review Awards nationwide: Chubut, Tierra del Fuego and Neuquén

Through the Travel Review Awards, Booking.com identified the most hospitable provinces in the country this year. The work determined that the top 3 is headed by Argentine Patagonia, along with Chubut, Tierra del Fuego and Neuquén.

Among them, Lago Puelo, Trevelin and Esquel (Chubut) stand out, all of them in the top 10 at the national level. In Tierra del Fuego, Ushuaia was the most outstanding. Meanwhile, in Neuquén, Villa La Angostura, San Martín de los Andes and Neuquén Capital were the best evaluated by the traveling community.

The top 5 is completed by Salta, where Salta Capital and Cafayate and Mendoza stood out, with Chacras de Coria, Maipú and Potrerillos at the top.

At the country level, Argentina ranked 12th among the most hospitable countries in the world, while at the regional level in Latin America it was ranked second after Brazil. The ranking of countries was headed by Italy, Spain and France in the first three positions.

In the same vein, in Argentina, 26,914 properties were recognized in the Travel Review Awards (20,780 in 2023), with 3 main categories standing out: apartments with 11,628, houses with 2,671 and hotels with 1,731 award-winning properties.
