This year, the event, which brings together leading tourism companies from Argentina and the region, will take place from September 28 to October 1 at the Rural fairgrounds in Buenos Aires.
The Peruvian delegation, headed by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ), will be located at stand 3255, measuring 120 m2, where there will be demonstrations of exquisite Peruvian food, dance shows, the creation of Amazonian crafts, cocktail classes based on pisco - the emblematic drink of Peru - and barista classes with the best of Peruvian coffee.
The opening of the Peruvian stand will be on Saturday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m. and will be attended by representatives of the Peruvian Embassy in Argentina, the economic and commercial advisor of PROMPERÚ in Argentina, Silvia Seperack, and the coordinator of the Latin American market of PROMPERÚ, Lizbeth Corrales.
Alongside PROMPERÚ, 12 Peruvian companies from the sector will also participate: Dika Travel, Fiesta Tours Peru, Hada Tours, Lima Tours, Peru A Travel, Peru Travel Operator, Viajes Pacífico and PTS Peru. And four local products: GHL Hotels Peru, Iberostar Selection Miraflores, Intursa Grupo Hotelero and Peru Rail.
During the event, the following Peruvian destinations will be promoted: Amazonas, Ancash, Arequipa, Cusco, Ica, Lima, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Loreto, Madre de Dios, Piura, Puno and Tumbes. In addition, some of the incredible travel experiences that can be had in Peru will be highlighted, such as glamping in the desert, gastronomic tours, train services to Machu Picchu, personalized and luxury trips, and tourist package programs that will be marketed in 2025.
The PROMPERÚ team will also offer two training sessions to the professional public on the Peruvian tourism offer. On Monday, September 30 at 4:00 p.m., the topic “Escapades a Perú” will be addressed and on Tuesday, October 1 at 3:00 p.m., participants will learn how to generate content with Floxie, a well-known Argentine influencer.
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September, the fair will be open to the public, running from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with tastings, shows and the unique opportunity to access great alternatives and travel proposals. Meanwhile, on Monday 30 September and Tuesday 1 October, the fair will open its doors from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will be exclusively for professionals in the sector.
