ACI Global Customer Experience Summit: Guanacaste Airport multiple awards as one of the best in the region

Guanacaste Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network, received multiple awards during the Airports Council International (ACI) Global Customer Experience Summit gala held last night in Atlanta, securing several awards from the Airports Council International (ACI) Service Quality (ASQ) program.

Guanacaste Airport received the following awards:

The most dedicated airport staff in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Best airport in the region in the category of less than 2 million passengers.

Airport with the fastest traffic

Level two Customer Experience Program accreditation.   

The Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program is a global benchmark for the quality of airport services by measuring and benchmarking the customer experience at airports. ASQ is based on surveys administered directly to passengers assessing their satisfaction levels. 595,000 surveys, with more than 30 performance indicators on key elements of the experience were applied during 2023. 

The customer experience accreditation goes hand in hand with Guanacaste Airport's commitment to improving the quality of service to the thousands of tourists who arrive at the airport every day. In July of this year, the terminal opened a children's entertainment area, as well as a breastfeeding area, so that mothers can have an optimal and safe space to feed their babies.

Its success in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) awards underlines its ability to make every passenger’s journey to the airport memorable and enjoyable,” said Luis Felipe Oliveira, General Manager of ACI World.
