These changes, driven by the high level of security currently prevailing in the country, do not go unnoticed on the international level, where there is great interest in learning about all the good things our nation has to offer.
For this purpose, the Consulate in the city of Doral, state of Florida, and the Salvadoran Tourism Corporation (CORSATUR) held an event to promote and present the various destinations and activities available for Americans and people of other nationalities to visit El Salvador, whether for vacation or business plans.
“Visitors to our territory have different options to enjoy spaces according to their preferences. Thus, lovers of the sun, the sea and water sports will find the “Surf City” beach circuit the ideal place. We also have completely renovated natural parks, as well as historical and archaeological sites, among other options that will allow you to be in contact with nature, appreciate incredible landscapes or taste our delicious cuisine,” said Consul Elsy Vásquez.
The official also referred to the proximity between the various tourist spots, and stressed that there is adequate infrastructure, including hotels, accessible roads and shopping centers, among other aspects that allow visitors to enjoy a good stay, which adds to their travel experience.
The aforementioned activity also included a segment of outreach between hoteliers, tour operators and other Salvadoran companies in the tourism sector with clients and potential allies from the state of Florida, with a view to establishing links and realizing opportunities to increase the flow of travelers to the country, among other productive projects.
Another point worth highlighting was the air connectivity that makes El Salvador a destination that can be reached more easily from anywhere in the world.
Along these lines, during the event, Volaris airline authorities announced the start of operations of the direct route between San Salvador and Miami, which opens the doors for more people to get to know and enjoy El Salvador.
“Volaris’ new direct route between San Salvador and Miami marks a significant step in the expansion of the airline’s air connectivity in El Salvador, strengthening its international connection and boosting trade, tourism and development opportunities,” said Volaris’ Director of Sustainability and Corporate Development, Ronny Rodríguez.
In this way, an alternative way of travelling is also made available to the diaspora to reconnect with their places of origin, the authorities reiterated during the event.
Likewise, this promotion of the destination and of the roots in the country are part of the work axes promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Authorities from the area, representatives of tourism companies and related sectors, communicators and other special guests participated in the activity of this day.
