Volaris, the Mexican ultra-low-cost airline operating in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, is enhancing its connectivity between Mexico and the United States with a new route linking the cities of Dallas, Texas, and Monterrey, Nuevo León, starting on March 30th, 2025.
Since launching operations in Dallas in 2015, Volaris has transported over 820,000 customers through two routes connecting this key southern U.S. city with Mexican destinations, including Mexico City and Guadalajara, and as of March 30th, with Monterrey.
"We are very excited to launch this new route connecting Dallas with Monterrey, as it aligns with our commitment to enhance air connectivity for the benefit of our customers, especially in destinations with high tourism and business appeal, or for those wishing to be closer to their friends and relatives," said Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President of Volaris. "This Texan city is home to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, which is the largest in the state, the second largest in the United States, and the third largest in the world, and now becomes another Volaris destination," he added.
This new Volaris route will strengthen economic, social, and tourism exchanges between Dallas, the third most populated city in Texas known for its diverse range of tourist, artistic, and cultural attractions, and Monterrey, Mexico’s second-largest business and financial hub, recognized for its significant business and industrial activity.
