At the 51st edition of ABAV Expo, a benchmark event for Brazilian tourism, which takes place from September 26 to 28 in Brasilia, at the CICB, Rafael Turra - partner and manager of TZ Seguros and operational and product director of Vital Card Seguro Viagem, and Luciano Bonfim, commercial director of Vital Card Seguro Viagem, highlighted the innovations and differences that the company brought to the travel insurance sector

New benefits for international plans

One of Rafael Turra's main announcements was the inclusion of a SIM chip with 1 GB of internet valid for seven days, which is offered free of charge in all travel insurance plans contracted for Europe and the United States. In addition, travel agents now have the option of adding an e-SIM to the insurance issuance process, providing even more convenience to travelers.

Turra stressed that Vital Card travel insurance is the most comprehensive on the market, with all the main coverages included in the product, without the need to add options. “Our travel insurance is the most comprehensive on the market. All the main coverages that the passenger needs are already included in the product,” he said.

Trust and security are the pillars of the Vital Card

Luciano Bonfim, commercial director of Vital Card, stressed the importance of the trust and financial stability of insurers for travel agents and passengers. He warned to be careful when choosing an insurance company, highlighting that Vital Card has an exclusive partnership with American Life, with which it has been working for seven years.

“What are you giving away, travel agent? Your greatest asset. So that is what Vital Card is concerned about, partnership with the same insurance company, exclusivity,” Bonfim said.

Differentiated coverage and exclusive service

Among the differentiators of the Vital Card, Bonfim highlighted the coverage for flight delays that result in missed connections, an exclusive feature of the company. It also mentioned the complementary coverage for lost luggage, where Vital Card pays an additional amount of up to one thousand currencies (either in euros, dollars or reais), in addition to the compensation offered by the airline.

Another point addressed by Turra was the reduction of bureaucracy in refund processes. Vital Card offers agile and efficient channels of attention, including WhatsApp, email and telephone, all directed to an exclusive center. In addition, travelers who need to request a refund will be able to do so completely digitally, directly from their travel destination, with the guarantee that the amount will be credited to their account even before returning.

24 hour assistance center

Bonfim also highlighted the importance of the Vital Card Assistance Center, which operates 24 hours a day with assistance in Portuguese. “Our center is specialized in assistance. I am prepared so that when you call I can assist you at any time of the day or night,” Bonfim explained, emphasizing the company’s commitment to providing a humanized and efficient service.

Direct contact with directors

An unusual feature of the Vital Card is the availability of the personal contact details of its directors on the insurance vouchers. Both Turra and Bonfim are concerned with offering this proximity to customers, allowing passengers to contact them directly in case of any need.

Vital Card's participation in the 51st ABAV Expo 2024 reinforces the company's position as one of the leaders in the travel insurance market, always innovating and seeking to offer the best service to its customers and business partners.
