FEHGRA in FIT held strategic meetings with top provincial tourism officials

The stand of the Hotel and Gastronomic Business Federation of the Argentine Republic (FEHGRA) was a meeting point for the country's business leaders during the four days of the Latin American International Tourism Fair (FIT) - from September 28 to October 1, at La Rural, the Buenos Aires fairgrounds.

In this space, FEHGRA authorities met with the Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of Argentina, Daniel Scioli; the Undersecretary of Tourism of the Nation, Yanina Martínez; the President of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism, Gustavo Hani; and the President of FIT and the Argentine Federation of Travel and Tourism Companies (FAEVYT), Andrés Deyá.

The President of the Federation, Fernando Desbots, together with Vice President Florencia Landivar, in charge of the Department of Tourism, signed a Framework Agreement for Collaboration for participation in the National Promotion Campaign for Gastronomic Tourism, called “Hello! Argentina. Made by FEHGRA” with the tourism authorities of three Provinces, Neuquén, Córdoba and Salta.

Members of the Executive Committee and regional representatives of the Department of Tourism were present.

“Hola! Argentina” is a tour that highlights the country’s gastronomic and hospitality wealth, and shows the different tourist destinations through their culture, traditional dishes, hotels and local protagonists of each province. This immersive audiovisual journey, promoted by FEHGRA and featuring the creative touch of renowned photographer Gabriel Rocca, began in Jujuy.

The second stop of the campaign is Neuquén. At the FEHGRA stand at FIT, the agreement was signed with the Minister of Tourism, Gustavo Fernández Capiet, in the presence of the president of NeuquenTur, Sergio Sciacchitano; and the Commercial Director of NeuquenTur, Marina González.

The third province to join the “Hola! Argentina” is Córdoba, following the signing of the Framework Agreement with the president of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, Dario Capitani; and the director of the Public Sector of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, Diego Barberis.

The Minister of Tourism and Sports of Salta, Mario Peña, also signed the Agreement to take part in the National Promotion Campaign for Gastronomic Tourism.

“Gastronomy brings people together and tourism roots people in their land, generating culture, identity and genuine employment. The idea of ​​this project is to show the routes, landscapes, destinations and services of all corners of our country to promote national tourism in Argentina for Argentines,” explains Florencia Landivar, head of the Department of Tourism, which is leading this initiative.

On the other hand, FEHGRA also presented the campaign to the tourist representatives of the following Provinces and CABA:
