The 2024 edition of Peru Mucho Gusto Lima will take place in the Peruvian capital from October 31 to November 3 and promises to be a great culinary event. This is the largest gastronomic fair in Peru, celebrating the richness and diversity of Peruvian cuisine, which in recent years has won several international awards.
At this event, organized by the Peruvian Commission for the Promotion of Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ), visitors will be able to enjoy an incredible variety of dishes from the 25 regions of Peru, the coast, the Andean zone and the jungle. It is a unique opportunity to taste a wide range of Peruvian flavors and culinary traditions, in one place.
During the four-day fair, with free admission, delicacies prepared with local ingredients and traditional techniques passed down through the years will be on offer, such as fresh ceviche from the coast, pachamanca from the Andean region and exotic delicacies from the Amazon. Drinks and desserts will also be on offer that promise to delight the most demanding palates.
Under the motto “Flavors with History,” this year’s event will bring together 145 exhibitors of gastronomy, tourism, crafts and products, who will be distributed in thematic areas. In the restaurant section, there will be more than 40 gastronomic establishments with varied and refined proposals. In the drinks area you will find stands selling cocktails, craft beer and soft drinks. Those with a sweet tooth will be able to enjoy several stands dedicated to Peruvian desserts and artisanal ice creams. In the artisanal bakery section, master bakers will exhibit their creations.
There will also be a market with the participation of producers from various regions of Peru, where it will be possible to learn about the various Peruvian ingredients that enrich their gastronomy. In the crafts area, artisans from different regions of the country will exhibit and sell their handmade products, and PROMPERÚ will have information stands where they will provide details about Peruvian tourist destinations.
In addition, there will be a full entertainment agenda, including musical shows, activations, cooking classes, regional dances and many surprises, offering the public an unforgettable experience.
The Peru Mucho Gusto Lima fair, which will take place at the Explanada da Costa Verde, in the Magdalena del Mar district, is an essential platform to promote regional and national Peruvian gastronomy, a place where it will be possible to find the authentic flavors of Peru. For all these reasons, this fair hopes to establish itself as one of the main gastronomic events in Latin America.
