Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovative global cruise line that has been disrupting the norm for 57 years, today unveils its new brand positioning, 'MORE', reinforcing and expanding its commitment to providing guests with more onboard offerings, more places to discover and more value with the launch of its newly enhanced program, “More at Sea.”
NCL is renowned for offering endless choice with more than 600 unique itineraries through 2026 calling at 450 destinations around the world, and a fleet that features more than 80 restaurants and a wealth of onboard activities. There is something for every guest on NCL’s future fleet of 20 ships. Guests will be able to create unforgettable memories on their dream vacation and will never have to choose between this or that, but will be able to enjoy this and that.
To further enhance the guest experience, NCL is enhancing its popular “Free At Sea” program to “More At Sea,” which will provide even more of the premium benefits and options guests prefer on their well-deserved vacations. Those booking new voyages beginning January 1, 2025 will be able to benefit from this new, more inclusive bonus. “More at Sea” will feature an expanded offering of guest-favorite amenities as well as a wide variety of globally recognized premium beverage brands across all spirits categories, including Grey Goose Vodka, Casamigos Tequila, Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey, and more, all-inclusive. In response to guest feedback and in an effort to deliver an impeccable dining experience, NCL has replaced à la carte specialty food pricing with a fixed price for cruises beginning January 1, 2025.
“This has been one of the most exciting projects we’ve ever undertaken with NCL – always seeking to better and genuinely understand what our guests value most during their cruise,” said David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We’ve spent a lot of time listening to our guests and our travel partners, and what we’ve discovered is that they want to see more, do more and enjoy more when they vacation with us. They also want to do it easily and simply, so today we’re excited to announce the enhancement of our signature ‘Free at Sea’ program to the new and improved ‘More At Sea.’ It will offer the best experiences with more variety, choice and added value to optimize guests’ vacations, including more premium beverage options to choose from, more opportunities to experience our specialty restaurants, more connectivity with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, and much MORE.”
As the leader in entertainment at sea, Norwegian Cruise Line is also redefining its onboard offering to offer more variety in programming 24 hours a day from bow to stern. With a focus on providing more options for guests to enjoy entertainment outside of the theater and throughout the ship, there will be something for everyone. The company is placing an emphasis on musical productions with broader international appeal, as recently announced with the introduction of Revolution: A Celebration of Prince, which will premiere onboard the new Norwegian Aqua in 2025. Additionally, NCL is enhancing some of its most beloved shows in time for Norwegian Aqua’s debut. Guest favorite Elements, which mixes acrobatics, magic and intrigue, has evolved into Elements: The World Expanded, to offer even more fun surprises, and the lineup is now available to guests. and 'Syd Norman's Presents: Rumours,' a Fleetwood Mac tribute experience, will move to the Aqua Theater & Club to accommodate even more guests for the always-packed show.
To make vacationing easier for its guests, NCL will launch a new mobile app across its fleet later this year. Designed to streamline the guest experience at every point of their cruise journey, Norwegian Cruise Line’s mobile app simplifies the cruise planning process and includes enhanced features such as a more intuitive way to navigate and make onboard reservations, including dining, shore excursions and entertainment; a simpler check-in process with reduced steps; a more transparent view of purchase history; and a dynamic home screen that displays relevant voyage information at every stage of the cruise vacation. This strategic vision of “enjoying MORE at sea” underscores NCL’s ongoing efforts to offer more variety and more choice for all types of travelers. Its nearly 20 ships offer a wide variety of onboard experiences, from the industry's only racetracks at sea to its award-winning spas with thermal suites and multi-sensory experiences, and more outdoor space on its newest ships to bring guests closer to the ocean, meaning there's more to see, more to do and more to enjoy every time!
In 2025 and 2026 respectively, the company’s most innovative ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, will offer even more options to enjoy with the debut of signature NCL experiences, including the Aqua Slidecoaster, the world’s first hybrid roller coaster and water slide. Featuring dual-slide thrill rides and a magnetic elevator that takes adventurous guests through two different courses, this innovative attraction will feature three floors of thrilling twists and turns around the ship’s funnel. It will also debut the company’s first Thai specialty restaurant, Sukhothai, as well as its first restaurant with a plant-based menu, Planterie, adding to the endless array of global dining offerings available fleetwide for guests to discover.
Visiting 450 destinations around the world, including its private destinations of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and Harvest Caye in Belize, NCL offers itineraries for every type of traveler and vacation, from quick weekend getaways to more immersive voyages for the more explorer-driven. Beginning in 2026, guests will be able to enjoy a greater variety of shorter cruises; more fun in the sun on cruises to Bermuda, the Caribbean and the Bahamas; greater diversity in cruise lengths from Europe, from seven- to 16-day voyages; and dream destinations like Alaska and Asia-Pacific will continue to take center stage.
