During a recent visit to South America, Damien Perrot, Global Chief Design, Technical Services & Innovation Officer for Accor's Premium, Midscale & Economy division, reaffirmed the Group's commitment to promoting innovation and excellence in hotel design.
During the trip, Perrot visited more than 20 hotels in the network, mainly from the iconic brands ibis, Pullman, Mercure and Tribe, to take a closer look at local challenges and needs. The executive singled out the Pullman Lima Miraflores in Peru for its dazzling rooftop, which attracts both travelers and locals. At Novotel Medellín El Tesoro in Colombia, the rooftop also drew attention as one of the best in the region.
“We are excited about the new redesigned concepts for the Pullman and Novotel brands. These concepts are tailored to meet regional needs while maintaining global standards,” says Perrot, who also had the opportunity to explore the newly refurbished Pullman São Paulo Ibirapuera model room during his stay in Brazil. “The Pullman model room in São Paulo is an excellent example of our innovative approach. It combines functionality and sophisticated design, enhancing the guest experience.”
Damien Perrot’s visit reaffirms Accor’s position as a leader in innovation and design in the hospitality industry in the Americas. As the network expands its operations, the focus on differentiated guest experiences, coupled with the collaborative work of its regional teams, continues to drive the company’s global success.
