They will also be joined by Natali Leal, CEO of OPAIN and Juan José Salmón, CEO of Lima Airport Partners.
The potential of regional airports
One of the conference panels, which will focus on the potential of regional airports in the region, will address the prospects for regional aviation in Latin America, such as state-of-the-art aircraft suitable for regional routes, airlines with a profile to operate in this market, and the relationship between tourism and regional aviation in the region.
At the end of the conference, during the Caribbean Regional Airports Summit on November 12, the topic will be expanded to include discussions on airport infrastructure development, airport business planning and increased connectivity in the Caribbean region.
ACI-LAC Director General Rafael Echevarne highlights the main expectations for the main airport sector conference in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2024:
“ACI-LAC is preparing for another year of debates, exchanges of experiences and reports of good practices from the main players in the airport market in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our focus in 2024 is to understand how our members are facing the challenges of our time using innovation as a driver of sustainable development in a competitive environment. We are certain that this discussion is important to raise the standards of the airport sector in the region,” commented Dr. Rafael Echevarne, Director General of ACI-LAC.
