LEVEL, Barcelona's long-haul airline, and Visit Buenos Aires, the city's public-private agency for international tourism promotion, have signed a new collaboration agreement, thanks to which different promotional actions will be carried out for the City of Buenos Aires as a tourist destination in Spain.

This new agreement aims to strengthen the promotion and attraction of international tourists, enhance the image of Buenos Aires as a modern destination with an attractive tourist offer, maintain efforts to de-seasonalize the arrival of tourists, as well as increase the volume of people traveling to this city from Barcelona.

To this end, advertising and marketing campaigns will be developed on different channels to promote and disseminate the City of Buenos Aires culturally and commercially, thus improving its attractiveness as a tourist destination in Spain, especially from Barcelona, a city that LEVEL connects directly with the Argentine capital, with the consequent increase in tourist flow.

Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial & Network Officer of LEVEL, said: “We continue to strengthen our excellent relationship with Visit Buenos Aires and this new agreement will allow us to continue contributing to the promotion of this destination and underlines our firm commitment to Buenos Aires. In fact, the Argentine capital was one of the first destinations since the airline was founded and where we have been growing in a solid and sustained way during these seven years of operations.”

Karina Perticone, Executive Director of Visit Buenos Aires, said: “For us, it is strategic to work with airlines that connect the Spanish market with our city and develop campaigns that encourage the conversion of reservations from the market of origin and thus compensate for the composition of flights to Spain, while increasing the number of arrivals of Spanish visitors to our city. In the particular case of LEVEL and its operation in Catalonia, this region of Spain is one of those that sends the most passengers to our country and that is why this agreement is strategic for Visit Buenos Aires.”

For this upcoming 2024-25 winter season, which begins the last weekend of October, LEVEL will operate a daily flight to the city of Buenos Aires, and will even increase to eight frequencies starting in December. On this route, the airline is the only operator that connects with Barcelona directly and without stops.
