“Our guests love Disney Skyliner, and I’m so proud of the cast members who welcome families to experience it every day,” said Mark Natter, vice president of Transportation Operations. “We’re transporting guests with magic and creating memories to last a lifetime.”

The fun, themed cabins connect Disney's Hollywood Studios to the International Gateway at EPCOT and operate from several Disney hotels, including Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort.

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, here are some fun facts about the Disney Skyliner:
The Disney Skyliner has traveled more than 1 million miles since its opening.
The skyway spans nearly three miles, with 50 towers and five stations.
There are more than 300 cabins along the route.
Cabins travel at a top speed of 12 miles per hour.
Typical transfer time between stations ranges from five to 15 minutes, depending on the route.
More than 150 themed cabins feature iconic Disney characters and figures from more than 20 attractions and movies, including “Encanto,” “Frozen,” “Coco,” “Monsters Inc.” and more.

The Disney Skyliner Station at EPCOT's International Gateway is just steps from Disney's BoardWalk Entertainment District, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn.

Guests love to fly and travel in style, making Disney Skyliner one of the most popular experiences at Walt Disney World.

Complimentary transportation aboard the Disney Skyliner is just one of the many benefits for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. Other benefits include extra time in the theme parks, early access to dining reservations, recreational and sports activities, surprise appearances by Disney characters and more. In 2025, guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will also be able to enjoy admission to a water park on the day of their check-in.
