Minister Duarte highlighted the importance of this alliance because it represents a firm commitment to promote joint development, innovation in key sectors of tourism, and diversify tourism offerings, both in Paraguay and Taiwan.
For his part, TTA head Joe Y. Chou emphasized that new opportunities are opening up to promote tourism.
He also stressed the Taiwanese government's firm intention to share its tourism development model with Paraguay.
The Letter of Intent includes concrete actions such as training programs, research and development projects, as well as investment promotion. These joint projects seek to strengthen Paraguay's position in the global tourism market.
This agreement is expected to generate mutual benefits that contribute to the sustainable development of the tourism sector and to the enrichment of relations between Paraguay and Taiwan.
