The Dominican Republic's low-cost airline inaugurated last night the start of operations of its new direct route between Quito and Punta Cana, which will have two weekly frequencies.
This direct flight to Punta Cana lasts 3 hours and 45 minutes. The two weekly flights from Quito to Punta Cana are available on Wednesdays and Sundays and from Punta Cana to Quito on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From there, you can connect with the wide network of destinations offered by the Dominican airline, which connects North, Central and South America and the Caribbean, including Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Santiago, Toronto, Montreal, Mexico City, Cancun, Jamaica, among others. With this, Arajet has transformed this famous airport and Caribbean destination into its second air hub for connections.
Benjamin Garces, Commercial Consultant at Arajet, said on behalf of Victor Pacheco, CEO and Founder of Arajet, that this new direct route gives Ecuadorians the opportunity to connect directly with the eastern part of the Dominican Republic, recognized as the most important tourist hub in the Caribbean.
Garces also highlighted that the young airline has been operating in Quito, Ecuador for two years and that it seeks to provide its passengers with the best service and comfort at the best price on the market from its new air hub at the Punta Cana airport.

Arajet has established itself as the Dominican airline with the highest passenger traffic, surpassing the 100,000 passenger barrier for several consecutive months.
