Blue Diamond Resorts highlighted its hotel offering to the European market

In this context, Travel2latam spoke with Antonio Herrera Vega, Vice President of Commercial and Sales at Blue Diamond Resorts

How is WTM London working out for you?

It is turning out to be a great event. We have had meetings with many tour operators from Europe, Canada and Latin America. 

We are coming to the end of the year. How has the season gone and what are your expectations for 2025?

The year 2024 is ending in a very successful way, being a record for us from an economic point of view. And 2025 looks pretty good, we hope to have a year equal to or better than 2024. 

The main news is that we have started construction of our Royalton CHICE in Barbados, which is scheduled to open in May 2026. There are approximately 250 rooms in the western part of Barbados. It is a very innovative and adults-only product on an island that is demanding new products and where we believe that the Royalton CHIC adults-only “Party your way” concept will mean a change in the tourist panorama of the island. 

What events will you be participating in next?

The year is almost over, with all the Christmas parties coming up with all our collaborators to close the year and we will start the season again with FITUR in Madrid in January.
