The Quito Public Tourism Company organized the talk 'Incentive trips: the link between motivation and results', aimed at representatives of the tourism sector, with the aim of promoting the Quito destination in this area.
The training was given by Argentine businesswoman Emora Franco, who reinforced strategies on opportunities in the Ecuadorian capital within the MICE segment (acronym for meetings, incentives, conferences and corporate events), which includes business travel.
An incentive trip is a vacation package that a company offers its employees as an incentive to achieve objectives, that is, a reward for a job well done or as a thank you for the employee remaining at the company for a long period.
In this sense, incentive trips are an option increasingly considered by companies to overcome internal constraints such as relationships between employees, combating stress, low motivation or talent retention.
In this context, Quito has a wide range of tourist attractions for companies wishing to promote the area of incentive travel, thanks to an ideal tourist infrastructure and attractive tourist packages, which promote the city from the Historic Center, the largest and best preserved in Latin America; a modern and prosperous area; an exuberant nature that surrounds the Metropolitan District, where adventure tourism is an option and, of course, the exquisite gastronomy of the capital.
This is how Quito, the most beautiful city in the world, offers a variety of activities, beautiful places and unique experiences.
Representatives of travel agencies, hoteliers and tour operators attended the training lecture, held on November 12 at the Sheraton Hotel.
Along the same lines, it is worth highlighting that the performance of the MICE segment is a strategic pillar for Quito's tourism, by promoting and attracting international events to the city, such as associative and corporate meetings, incentive trips, fairs and social and military events. educational, religious and family sectors.
