Arajet, the Dominican airline, in collaboration with the aircraft manufacturer Boeing, taught the course on Line Maintenance, Engineering and Quality, as part of a series of training programs for young aeronautical technicians and engineers.

This training on Boeing 737 MAX aircraft is the first in a series of training programs that combine theory and practice, in which 24 young people from the maintenance and engineering area participated, of which 18 were national and 6 were foreigners; with the aim of providing them with tools and skills for their professional growth and the best performance of their functions.

The airline reported that this is the second training course given by Boeing instructors at Arajet's facilities in Santo Domingo, on line maintenance, engineering and quality of the Boeing 737 Max aircraft model, which make up the fleet of 10 aircraft that Arajet has flying over the skies of the region.

Victor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, said that Arajet maintains its commitment to quality and operational safety as the company's core axes, as well as to the development of Dominican professional technical personnel for the benefit of the sector's development.

“For Arajet, being the flag carrier means contributing to and positively impacting the growth and sustainability of the Dominican aeronautical sector, and to achieve this, we firmly believe that the transfer of knowledge is necessary in all areas of the national aeronautical industry,” highlighted Pacheco Méndez.
