“The power of transition lives here”: ITB Berlin 2025 presents first convention highlights

Under this motto, ITB Berlin 2025 will focus on the changing tourism industry from 4 to 6 March 2025.

With the motto “The power of transition lives here”, the ITB Berlin Convention will be dedicated to the transformative challenges and opportunities of the global travel and tourism industry. The ITB Transition Labs and Corporate Culture Clash Track are new features of the programme. In addition, for the first time, events on all four convention stages will be live-streamed to allow members of the global travel community to access sessions with more than 400 international speakers from anywhere in the world. Admission to the ITB Berlin Convention is included in a trade show ticket and a press pass. Tickets are available at the ITB Berlin ticket shop.

In 2025, the ITB Berlin Convention will once again be the global meeting point for networking and knowledge exchange. The leading travel industry think tank will host a total of 17 thematic sessions on four stages, addressing current issues relating to sustainability, technology, corporate culture and many other topics. The content is selected by a board of leading industry experts, ensuring that the sessions offer practical, up-to-date and innovative insights and include high-profile speakers. Live-streamed ITB Berlin events on all four stages will provide added value to the global travel community. In addition to being streamed live, the sessions will be available afterwards on the ITB Berlin YouTube channel.

“The ITB Berlin 2025 convention is putting the spotlight on the changes taking place in the tourism sector. With its new motto, it highlights the current dynamism in the sector and underlines the need to constantly adapt to changing conditions. In this way, it consolidates its position as a platform for dialogue and development in a context of continuous change,” says Deborah Rothe, Director of ITB Berlin.

NEW: ITB Transition Labs

This new event format, featuring 20 exclusive sessions over 90 minutes, offers destination and hospitality marketers in-depth insights into data-driven action recommendations. The labs are specifically designed to provide decision-makers with practical tools to confidently face the challenges of the future. Sessions can be booked at the ITB Berlin box office .

NEW: Corporate Culture Crash Course

The new Corporate Culture Clash Track on the Green Stage looks at the challenges and opportunities of a changing corporate culture. The focus is on topics such as diversity, new work, new technologies and the expectations of Generation Z.

ITB Travel and Tourism Radar: first-hand information

The industry report, based on the results of a three-times-annual survey, provides detailed insights into key topics such as business outlook, sustainability, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. The results of the final survey, scheduled for January 2025, will be compiled into a comprehensive report and presented during the ITB Convention in Berlin.
