MSC Cruises presents the new features of the 2025-2026 season

The novelty for the next season will be the arrival of the long-awaited MSC Fantasia dedicated for the first time to the local public and the elegant MSC Preziosa to offer itineraries of 7, 8, 9 and 10 nights

MSC Cruises, the ever-growing cruise line renowned for excellence, announces the new additions for the 2025-2026 season, which promises to be an unparalleled experience for travel lovers. For the first time in the port of Buenos Aires, MSC Cruises will present two Fantasia Class ships. The magnificent MSC Fantasia, dedicated to the Argentine and Uruguayan public, and the spectacular MSC Preziosa, will provide unforgettable experiences for the upcoming summer holidays.

For this reason, for the summer of 2025-2026, we are presenting a completely renovated fleet, more impressive and modern where we offer the widest variety of rates, itineraries, services, entertainment and gastronomy, all designed for those who wish to live an unforgettable experience on board," said Javier Massignani, Managing Director of MSC Cruises Argentina and Latam.

MSC Fantasia will arrive at the “Quinquela Martin” terminal in Buenos Aires on November 24, 2025, offering 14 departures on 8-, 9- and 10-night cruises from Buenos Aires and Montevideo. With itineraries that will visit the most outstanding and beautiful beaches in Brazil, destinations highly sought after by local guests, such as Rio de Janeiro, Ilhabela, Camboriú, Búzios and Ilha Grande.

Another new addition for this season is the arrival of MSC Preziosa, which will present 7-night itineraries to the incredible cities of Punta del Este, Itajaí (Balneario Camboriú) and Santos. MSC Preziosa will begin its voyages on January 20, 2026, ending the season on March 26 of the same year.

Exclusive promotions and rates of the season

In order to provide a service that adapts to the needs and desires of each guest, during the upcoming season MSC Cruises will offer 3 different fare options. Local guests will be able to choose from:

- Cruise only rate

- Cruise rate + All Inclusive Drinks

- Cruise rate + All Inclusive Drinks + Wifi

And for all those who book their vacation before February 28, 2025 on board MSC Fantasia, they will have the launch promotion for the 2025-2026 season for departures from Buenos Aires to Brazil. By paying the amount of USD 100 per guest plus the traveler assistance service, the price is “frozen” (frozen reservation), they will also have the benefit of a super-upgrade cabin, paying for an internal cabin on a double basis they get a cabin with a balcony (this promotion does not apply to the MSC Grand Voyage).

MSC Yacht Club y MSC Grand Voyages

For the second consecutive year, Argentine guests will be able to enjoy the exclusivity of MSC Yacht Club on board MSC Fantasia and MSC Preziosa, a service that includes All Inclusive Premium Drinks and Wi-Fi and the possibility of enjoying private spaces such as the restaurant, swimming pool, solarium, jacuzzi and access to MSC Aurea SPA. In addition, guests will receive personalized attention from a 24-hour butler and top-level amenities, providing them with a unique experience of privacy and distinction.

In addition, for travelers dreaming of a grand voyage, the season will offer two MSC Grand Voyages aboard MSC Fantasia. The first of these departs on November 8, 2025 from Barcelona to Montevideo and Buenos Aires. For this 16-night voyage, there will be the possibility of adding a 10-night cruise from Venice visiting cities such as Zadar, Dubrovnik, Corfu and Civitavecchia. Then, the return to Europe will begin on March 23, 2026, with a 19-night itinerary that will visit ports such as Ilhabela, Camboriu, Rio de Janeiro, Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Valencia to culminate in the port of Barcelona.

Completing this extensive cruise proposal in South America, MSC Cruises will also deploy MSC Seaview, MSC Armonia and MSC Lirica, which will sail along the white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters of northern Brazil from the ports of Santos and Itajaí.

MSC Fantasia

MSC Fantasia, capable of hosting 4,300 guests, is 333.30 metres long and has a total tonnage of 137,936. The ship, which gives its name to its class, which includes MSC Preziosa, MSC Divina and MSC Splendida, is elegant and combines the warmth and comfort of the Mediterranean atmosphere with avant-garde design.

Inside, there are a variety of themed bars and lounges with gourmet specialties and a variety of entertainment, including a piano bar, a jazz bar and a sports bar with video games and live streaming of events. There are also a number of restaurants, such as the grand Il Cerchio d'Oro and Red Velvet with authentic Murano glass chandeliers, and an American steakhouse with an exclusive chef's table at Butcher's Cut.

The L'Avanguardia theatre, with a capacity for 1,600 guests, offers two shows per night to enjoy concerts, classical music and major musical productions. It also has a wide variety of sports facilities, from tennis, basketball, mini-golf, a jogging track and a gym, to the water park's swimming pool complex, an exciting Formula 1 simulator and a 4D cinema.

The MSC Fantasia cruise ship features the relaxing MSC Aurea Spa, as well as fantastic areas and clubs designed for children and teenagers.  

MSC Precious

MSC Preziosa is the fourth ship in the Fantasia Class and the thirteenth ship in the fleet. She is 333 metres long, 38 metres wide, and weighs 140,000 tonnes. She can accommodate 4,345 guests and is a cruise ship capable of travelling at speeds of up to 24 knots.

The elegant design is once again the work of award-winning naval architects De Jorio Design International. It features three main restaurants, a variety of bars, a theatre, a futuristic nightclub, a casino and a video game room, among the countless spaces that combine to provide one of MSC Cruises’ best cruises. The 30,000 square meters of public areas include Vertigo, MSC Cruises’ water slide, the children’s water park, Doremi Castle Aqua Adventures Park, F1 simulator, bowling, XD cinema, and MSC Aurea Spa.

MSC Preziosa also features the same features as her sister ships MSC Divina, MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida including the famous staircases covered with Swarovski crystals, the infinity pool and specialty restaurants such as Butchers Cut and Galaxi Kaito. In addition, there are more than 10 different bars.
