After six years of absence, the VYVA International Tourism Fair returns stronger than ever, uniting the main players in tourism in Chile, both from the public and private sectors. This reissue —organized by Achet, Interexpo, Fedetur, Hoteleros de Chile, Achiga, Subsecretaría de Turismo and Sernatur— aims to consolidate the recovery of tourism in the country and project Chile as a global benchmark in the industry.
The VYVA 2025 fair, which will take place from October 3 to 5 next year at the Ciudad Empresarial Park in the Huechuraba commune, in a space of 8,000 square meters, is emerging as the key platform to position Chile on the map of outbound, inbound and internal tourism, as it will highlight Chile's culture, nature and heritage.
The Undersecretary of Tourism, Verónica Pardo, was present at the fair launch. She said that “today we announce the return of a key fair for the reactivation of tourism: with the relaunch of VYVA, our commitment is reaffirmed, as new opportunities will be generated for the regions and for each entrepreneur in this industry. On the one hand, this has been a year of great achievements, such as having exceeded 4 million foreign tourists and, on the other hand, tourism is a generator of employment and stability, benefiting more than 630 thousand people. I would also like to highlight that this also marks a commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism. VYVA 2025 will be a platform to highlight environmentally responsible initiatives.”
Sky Costanera was the chosen place to present some of the new features of the return of this event that will present an attractive offer of destinations in Chile and the world to plan the next vacations. In its eighth version, VYVA will bring together tourism senders and receivers, with a special focus on national tourism and adventure experiences, as well as a strong gastronomic component.
For Guillermo Correa, president of Achet and representative of the private sector, “VYVA exists with the purpose of stimulating the demand for products and services associated with tourism activity, aimed at national and foreign buyers interested in learning about our country's offering, through the presence of local operators and experts and encouraging travel to destinations abroad, which allows for an increase in the flow of tourists abroad.”

At VYVA 2025 there will be more than 300 national and international exhibitors and the estimated 15,000+ visitors will be able to plan their next vacation and choose from a wide range of destinations gathered in one place and with attractive discounts.
The first day (October 3) will be special for the professional public with business meetings, while the remaining days (October 4 and 5) will be for the general public.
According to the national director of Sernatur, Cristóbal Benítez, “one of the new features for VYVA 2025 will be 'Chile, your best bet', a meeting point between selling companies from all over the country that will be able to connect with agencies and operators. With this cycle of national business meetings, fruitful B2B meetings and encounters will be generated, a great opportunity for growth and collaboration for the tourism sector. We hope to arrange more than 600 business meetings between selling companies and national buyers.”
In addition, the 16 regions will exhibit their range of products and experiences in the national pavilion, such as gastronomy, culture, rural, adventure and nature tourism, among others. Meanwhile, in the international pavilion, all countries from priority markets will be present with their tourism offerings, information and promotions.
The fair will host parallel events: Mundo Outdoor (adventure tourism equipment), which includes the Santiago Grill Festival (grilled cuisine) and Go Fest (Overland and Camping).
