The magic of the holidays comes to Downtown Miami Holiday Village with an ice skating rink and holiday market, to the Adrienne Arsht Center with a unique take on the Santa Claus legend, and to Downtown Doral with The Nutcracker show, the first interactive experience that presents this beloved holiday classic in a way never seen before.

Drag lovers can’t miss “A Drag Queen Christmas” at The Fillmore Miami Beach; and “Miami Beach Holiday Festival of Lights!” is on sale for a limited time with a 20% discount, including front row seats.

Arts & Culture
During December and January, Miami Temptations Months’ “Miami Arts, Culture & Heritage Months” returns to bring together a vibrant arts scene with special offerings at museums, art tours and cultural attractions.

From the eye-catching murals of Wynwood, to the interactive arts in Doral, to the Art Deco charm of South Beach, every corner of Greater Miami and Miami Beach has something unique to offer. What’s more, it contributes significantly to the local economy with an impressive activity that supports more than 31,500 local entrepreneurs and merchants.

“Greater Miami & Miami Beach stands as a beacon of creativity and self-expression, attracting artists and cultural enthusiasts from around the world, even beyond this program, year-round,” said David Whitaker, President and CEO of GMCVB. “Our world-class art galleries, cultural institutions, historic landmarks and heritage neighborhoods make our city a true capital of arts and culture.”

New Hotels & Restaurants
Beachfront in Sunny Isles Beach, The Sunny offers a fun atmosphere, a spacious poolside terrace and six restaurants; in North Bay Village, The Palm Tree Club offers an oceanfront restaurant and high-tech rooms; and Moxy Miami Wynwood offers welcome cocktails and common spaces ideal for socializing or working.

Upcoming dining openings in the city include Fooq's Miami at its new location in Little River with delicious international flavors; Crisppi's in Wynwood, from former NFL player Randy Moss and a must-stop for fried chicken lovers; and Ensenada at The Vagabond Hotel with Mexican coastal cuisine and mezcal and agave cocktails.

Now available, offering quality dining experiences and taking over the Wynwood skyline, Mia Steakhouse & Lounge is from MICHELIN-starred chef Akira Back, and La Ferneteria, recognized as “a marvel of Argentina” that serves Italian cuisine.

Connections to go beyond the city
Explora II and Resilient Lady are cruise getaway options with luxury options and onboard entertainment, sailing from PortMiami to the Caribbean and Mexico. To and from Chicago, Amtrak’s Floridian train offers a direct and comfortable option, and Aeromexico adds (beginning December 19) a daily nonstop flight between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Cancun.

Among the latest developments, Fontainebleau Miami Beach inaugurated its new Coastal Convention Center, an elegant space for conferences, meetings and celebrations, with La Sala in Westchester featuring a unique atmosphere inspired by Cuban culture for events with a cultural touch.
