This year, the theme of traditions and nativity scenes comes to life in emblematic places such as Parques del Río and the city center. The idea behind these lights is for Medellín to have the largest nativity scene in the world.
More than 8 million light bulbs illuminate the city's streets and parks for 44 days, every night until January 12, between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, marking the traditional end-of-year celebrations.
