Sernatur, through its international tourism promotion brand Chile Travel, launches Los Imperdibles de Chile, a new documentary series that invites adventure and nature lovers to explore the most emblematic destinations in our country and the experiences they can enjoy there.

Hosted by renowned athlete and television personality Pangal Andrade, this six-episode audiovisual production will showcase the diversity of landscapes that make Chile a unique destination in the world. The series also focuses on the history and traditions of local communities, as well as the typical cuisine of each region.

The acting national director of Sernatur, Santiago Fernández, explained that “one of the main reasons why foreign tourists prefer Chile as their travel destination is its nature: 59.2 percent of them choose Chile for this reason. With this series we also want to motivate Chileans and residents to discover iconic places in the country. Along with showing the great diversity of landscapes, Los Imperdibles de Chile tells the story of the inhabitants of these territories and small towns in a close way.”

It is also worth noting that our country has won the award for Best Adventure Destination in South America ten times at the World Travel Awards, thanks to the variety of its natural landscapes that, from the mountains to the sea and from south to north, offer the opportunity to practice a wide variety of outdoor activities and sports in the midst of beautiful scenery.
