During 5 days of participation in FITUR, the Quito Tourism Public Company will promote the diversity of tourist attractions in the Ecuadorian capital, including ecotourism, adventure, culture, gastronomy, shopping and business, as well as scientific and academic tourism. In addition, it will present the Visit Quito digital platform, where users will be able to access information on tourist sites, attractions, gastronomy and the events calendar in the Metropolitan District.

The delegation from the capital will carry out gastronomic tastings to offer attendees an experience of the rich and creative gastronomy of Quito, one of the most interesting attractions of the city.

Chocolate Paccari and chefs Galo Pillalaza, from the traditional restaurant “Cosas Finas de La Florida” and Carlos Tituaña, from GO Quito Hotel, will be the representatives of Quito cuisine, presenting traditional dishes such as the exquisite potato locro, mote with chicharrón and canelazo.

From January 27 to 29, Quito's participation in Madrid Fusión will aim to position the city as a high-quality gastronomic destination and promote its culinary traditions in the international market. This congress represents an excellent opportunity to promote and market the tourist offer of the Ecuadorian capital, especially through its rich gastronomic offering.

The effort to position the city as a quality tourist destination, with a diverse offering, both in terms of tourism and gastronomy, is key in international promotion strategies.
